FD #41 released!

FD #39 released!

This FD is dedicated to Metal Gear, and Metal Gear Solid (for PlayStation) in particular. As a result we decided to make a Metal Gear look-a-like game, the FD Files! Unfortunately there aren't any screenshots of the game, but believe me, you'll like it! And furthermore there's the magazine, with cool graphics and nice Metal Gear and Solid Snake songs, and of course a lot of texts...

FD #40 released!

This brand new FutureDisk was released for the MSX fair in Tilburg. Next to a nice magazine with again better MoonSound support we also made another game for you: Teletubbies Academy! This is a remake of Konami's classic Monkey Academy, but now featuring the Teletubbies. Learn to count in FD style!

PS: Look here to see how to fix a 'bug' on FD#40...

FD #40 Bug Fix!

There were some small errors on FD#40. When you open this ZIP file, you can put the resulting MENUFILE.TXT on FD#40, and everything will work fine! With this file, you will be able to read 2 extra texts: Nawoord (Dutch) and the Emulator Corner (English). Note: this will ONLY work with FD#40! Putting it on any other FD will destroy your disk!!

FD #38 released!

This time, we chose the wellknown Peach Up magazines as our main theme. This means we have a nice game for you, with a cool bonus after a number of stages, and a magazine with a Peach Up layout (and a cool OPL4 version of the Peach Up introtune!) and long texts...

FD #37 released!

Since it was summer at the time this disk was released, we decided to make another theme issue. This time we chose Spain as our main theme. This resulted in a new selector, a lot of Spanish software, and a magazine with a lot of Spanish MSX news. To keep you busy, we collected some promos from Spanish games for you: Puddle Land, KPI Ball and Pentaro Odyssey 2!

FD and Sunrise start cooperation!

It's already old news, but we have to fill up our Home, don't we? Anyway, FutureDisk and Sunrise have decided to cooperate. The result of this is that the members of Sunrise Magazine will get a FD subscription in stead of a ROM or MGF magazine, and that Sunrise will publish all its information on the FD...

FD Staff members wanted

If you are from Spain, Italy, Japan, Brazil, France (any place that is not Holland, actually), and you think you can inform us about what is going on in your country, we want YOU to write about it, and we will publish it all on the FutureDisk. New soft and hardware, fairs, interesting stuff that nobody knows about yet, we want you to tell us! It is good for everybody; we have some REAL news, and every MSX fan in your country can be sure that in other countries people will know that they have made something or are organizing an event. Remember, the FD is read in a lot of different countries.

As soon as we find someone (one person) in each country, we will make sure that your address will be on every FD, so that people from your country know who to call when they have some news (unless you don't want this, of course!). This way, you will eventually get all the news first and then you send it to us.

There's only one but: you MUST have an E-mail address, just to make things easier. Another thing is that you have to be able to write good (=understandable) English. If these requirements aren't a problem for you, and you are interested, don't hesitate to mail or write us. The fastest way to get a reply is to send an E-mail to Koen Dols or Jorrith Schaap. These E-mail addresses are read almost every day... We hope to hear from you!
